28/04/2012 DIMEX has supported new sport in Rostov region

In the U.S. and Europe rope-skipping became popular in the 80-ies together with the fashion for a healthy lifestyle. Sports federations are created in more than 30 countries around the world. It would seem that rope-skipping is just simple child's fun but it’s wrong. This sport develops stamina, strengthens the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, helps to lose weight, strengthens leg muscles and has favorable effect on health. Expressiveness of rope-skipping competitions does not concede to disciplines within Olympic program. In Rostov-on-Don rope-skipping has appeared not long ago. The first open tournament was organized in February 2012. Single speed and power jumping, team jumping, jumping with crossed legs or hands, squat jumps, jumps with the change of the feet, jumping sideways were evaluated during the latest competition. As the result, sets of medals were raffled in five age groups of participants.
